KÉRASTASE – Masque force architecte

I figured it was time to review a hair product and what better way to do so than with one i’m very pleased with! I use masks for my hair roughly 2 times a week because my hair is very dry and breaks easily from being bleached.

I bought this one to stop my hair from breaking. I know the only way to save damaged hair is to actually cut it off. Don’t get me wrong – i cut my hair every 8-9 weeks. It’s just to prevent further damage and slowly “save” my hair.

It contains 200ml, UK and Irish shoppers can find it here and it retails for 24.45€

It smells lovely and it has a rich thick texture so you do not have to use much. Use an amount equal to the size of a golfball and distribute through wet hair after schampoing, wait 5 minutes and then rinse and follow with conditioner. It’s important to know that a hair mask is NOT a conditioner!! The product promises to do the following:

  • Fiber reconstruction
  • Fiber revitalization
  • Fiber is shiny and smooth
  • Hair is softened and reconstructed
  • Hair strengthening effect
  • Damage repair
  • Anti-breakage action
  • Split-ends prevention

I have to say that yes after using this mask my hair looked healthier and i did have less breakage on my hairbrush and i would totally repurchase it again! It is on the pricier side yes, but use 1-2 times a week and it will last you a long time. I recommend this to those who have weak, brittle hair in need of new life and bounce to their hair.

The key to treating your hair nicely is to find product suitable for your hair type. Ask your hairdresser! If you like the way your hair feels after being in the salon, ask what products were being used. Also, always remember you do not have to buy the products in the salon recommended by your hairdresser, just simply ask that they asses your hair type and you can pick and choose online for something suitable for your needs and wallet!
