Are toners really necessary? No, but they can be a great adjunct to a skincare regimen! I have combination skin and i also use make-up daily. A toner for me helps to remove the last bit of make-up and restores the balance in my skin. There are many toners out on the market, most of them with specific benefits to target various skin types and needs.
I’m a sucker for trying new skincare and make-up. Throughout the season, i change my skincare and make-up to suit my skin. In the wintertime i’m more on the dry side and in the summertime i want something soothing and nourishing for my face and body as i spend time in the sun.
Collistars multivitamin toner is an all time favourite for me in the summer months! It smells divine and soothes and calms my skin. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or tight. Contains no alcohol! I’d say it’s suitable for all skin types if you’re looking for an everyday toner to leave your skin feeling refreshed and ready for the next step in your skincare routine. Remember – moist skin can better absorb topical products than dry skin.
I bought the maxi size (400ml) because i know i love it and want it to last me all summer. Normally it’s available in 200ml and retails for 15.20€ here (cheapest i’ve found so far!)
This is the third time i repurchase it and i believe i’m coming in on a fourth one! If i could change something with this product it might be the scent. I love the smell of this product but i’m just thinking if it might irritate very sensitive skin. It’s not overpowering at all but just something to keep in mind.
Summary of this is that i do love this toner and i really recommend it. Do you have a favourite toner? Have you tried this one? Let me know!
