The best isn’t always the most expensive. One of my absolute favourite mascaras is both cheap and accessible to buy almost anywhere! Here are some reasons why I love it…
Mascara is something most of us use everyday and it can be a nightmare finding the right one in the jungle out there. I’ve tried so many! All ranging from drugstore to very high end brands – but what matters to me is formula and that the brush suits the length of my lashes. I also like to be able to build up my mascara to go from day to nightlook.
Retails usually from 12 Euro. Irish and UK (and even US) shoppers can find the mascara almost anywhere, but i prefer to order it from HERE
To keep in mind, just as with any other product when you’re comparing or reading reviews, is the length of your lashes vs the length of the reviewers lashes! I have medium to long lashes naturally, but not very curled or black. That’s why i always use a little help from a lash-curler BEFORE I apply my mascara! Do not use it after you’ve applied! It can break and damage your lashes and your mascara will look clumpy!
So, let’s get down to business shall we. The formula of this mascara is almost gel like and glides on so smoothly and is super black! It doesn’t dry or make your lashes stiff even if you build it up! Remember to let your mascara dry in between coats. If you accidentally get some on your eyelid, it’s easy to remove with a cottonbud.
The brush has small and soft silicone “piggs” as a brush that captures even the smallest of lashes! It coats the mascara evenly without clumping! Gives a very light result! I hate lashes that feels heavy and yet I want to get that fake lash look (don’t we all)!
I have lost count of how many times I have repurchased this one over any high end mascara!
If I could change something about this product, I would make it “easier” to remove. It does come off quite easy without tugging on your eyelids, but it would be amazing if you could just rinse it off with warm water. But, hey, we can’t have it all everytime 😉
